12-Point Checklist to Integrate Your e-Newsletter Into Your B2B Marketing Mix

Most companies already have an e-newsletter and yet, they often do not leverage its full potential and end up disappointed with the results. Does this sound like you?

Get the most out of your e-newsletter program by integrating your e-newsletter into your other marketing initiatives:

  • Add social media icons like Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter to your e-newsletter to encourage content sharing.
  • Add an e-newsletter sign-up form on your website to keep in touch with visitors and invite them to return more often.
  • Integrate your offline and online marketing by promoting live events such as trade shows and conferences in your e-newsletter.
  • Invite people that read your blog to check out your e-newsletter and vice-versa. If you have a blog, use a service like Feedblitz.com to feature blog posts in your e-newsletter. Inversely, include links to some archived posts in your e-newsletter to promote the value of the discussions on your blog.   • Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of your e-newsletter with a survey. The feedback you’ll receive will help you determine what type of content is right for your audience and how often they would like to receive it.
